Our par cans are in stock, ready to ship and is one of our biggest sellers. We beat all the other major companies such as Chauvet, Elation and American DJ both in pricing and in quality. One of the reasons why our par cans perform much better is because the led light bulbs the manufacturer uses in these lights are actually made in the United States from one of the leading led manufacturers. The par 64 can has 183 led light bulbs that are 10 millimeters each and they are produce light that is equal to a 250-300 watt incandescent par cans.
These lights will easily throw light 60-70 feet and the light has a 20 degree beam angle. The par 64 has standard 3 pin DMX XLR in and out ports and has dipswitches for DMX addressing. Each light consumes 4 channels of DMX which are as follows: Channel 1 Red, Channel 2 Green, Channel 3 Blue, Channel 4 Strobe and Intensity. You also have the option of not using a controller and by using just the dip switches you can choose from 7 static colors one color wash program and a sound activation mode as well. The light weight about 10 pounds and the light produces no heat like traditional par cans do. The par can dimensions are 11 inches by 9 inches in diameter. Each par can include clips for mounting diffusers and a hanging bracket.
We are including a quick comparison of Chauvet Rain par 56, American DJ par 64 and our Par 64 lights that were recently conducted by a customer of ours. Here were the results:
The first comparison of the led lights is the beam angle. The beam angle was measured at 10 feet and we have the diameter for each light. Chauvet Rain: 48 inches; American DJ: 84 inches; Our Par 64 lights: 55 inches
The second comparison is lux and foot candles measured at 10 feet in the center of the beam with a Greenlee light meter: Chauvet Rain: 93 lux, 9 foot candles; American DJ: 85 lux, 7 1/2 foot candles; Our Par 64 Lights: 199 lux, 18 1/2 foot candles
The reactions to these Par 64 fixtures have been incredible. Tyrone Blue Entertainment says this about these fixtures: "I have been playing with my new cans. I got them today and I am AMAZED! I took a few pictures so you all could see them. They were SO bright that I couldn't shoot from the front unless I dimmed them down to about 10%.
Each one is about as bright as a 250 watt bulb... stand in front and they are blinding. The cans are polished aluminum and look very high tech. Careful inspection shows them to be very high quality and the model is Par 64.
I highly recommend LED par cans for any use. No heat, very little consumed power, very bright, take up less space per color that normal pars. These are four channels and can be used as sound activated or master slave in addition to full DMX (as shown). Channel 4 will also "strobe" them and "rainbow" them."
