Our regular rope light consumes 2.16 watts per foot and has a life expectancy of 35,000 hours and our Led rope light consumes .53 watts per foot and has a life expectancy of 100,000 hours . All you have to do is pull this product out of the box, plug it in and it is ready to use.We sell different types of rope light by the foot and we are continuing to expand this product line out every week. This is perfect for people who need smaller sections of rope light or do not want to go through the expense of purchasing a commercial spool and hiring an electrician to cut an install your rope lights.

The first type of rope light by the foot that we sell is the standard 2 wire rope light. We offer this in various colors and voltages and you can choose between incandescent rope light and led rope light as well. 2 wire rope lights are also referred to as steady burn rope lights meaning that they are always on. The 120 volt version has a maximum run of 150 feet where the 12 and 24 volt versions have 20 or 40 foot maximum runs due to low voltage power restrictions. The majority of our customer purchase 120 volt 2 wire incandescent or led rope light.

The second type of rope light is the 3 wire chasing rope light. This rope light will require a controller and the rope light itself has two complete circuits and chases. There are a couple of different types of 3 wire rope light controllers available on the market and we sell the 3 wire controller with the most functions. Please refer to the chasing rope light controller advertisement for details on all the functions. All 3 wire rope light is only available in a 120 volt version.
